Ashley and Grammy's Birthday.

I was particularly bummed that my surgery was scheduled for the 10th of March and Grammy & Ashley's birthday party's were just 4 days later and I could not attend. Carissa drove the crew, including Ashley, a friend, and Darrick Jr with our whole crew to Yakima and they all stayed at Papa Mike and Grandma Lynn's House. I will have to have Carissa write about the pictures as she was assigned the picture taker for me in my absence :) As you can tell they had a sleep over and cake at the house before they went skating. Not only was it the first night Brandon and Bri joined the rest of the grandkids to stay the night and Papa and Grandma's it was Brianna and Brandon's first time roller skating.....I wish I could have been there! I understand everyone had a great time. I wanted to get the pics posted though so enjoy!

Brianna's Pretty Hair.

Brianna wanted me to do her hair today and since I was up a little I went ahead and had her bring her chair in front of the couch and did her hair....this is what we came up with sooooo cute, and she absolutely loves getting pretty hair for daddy! :) I only wish I was recovering faster so I could spend more quality time with the kids while at home, not fair to be home with them only to not feel well.

I know I HAVE to get videos in the daytime when there is better lighting, but I HAD to had to add these to the blog just incase they decide not to "perform" again :)

Brandon Dean and his new Rockit bike he is riding a bike built for a 9 year old, but he still has the training wheels as he is still only 4. Brianna is still riding hers from last year until she can ride using the pedals instead of pushing with her feet. She'll get there soon as she can't stand to not be doing what big brother is doing the way he is doing it. It's cute and they play and get along quite well, which really helps. They are growing up so fast it's scary, but we're enjoying every minute of it along the way! :)

Colleen's Surgery

Here are the lovely flowers that Colleen received from her co-workers and family along with the little brown teddy bear. We want to thank everyone for their gifts, thoughts, and prayers during this time. All went well with her surgery and she is home recovering with her family!

Hanging Out.

I took today off of work because tomorrow I will have a hysterectomy that will land me flat on my back for approximately 4 - 6 weeks. We had Brandon's conference, mine and Norma's hair cut, my last minute cleaning of the house, and hanging out with the kids all to get done....not to mention I am still in a lot of pain...so I finished up work on Friday, and spend today finishing personal things up.

I was attempting to take a picture of Norma with her new hair cut and Brandon and Brianna decided it was time for them to have a photo shoot as well....cheese, cheese, cheese echoed through the house and my heart smiled!

Brandon is doing wonderful in his preschool program and is coming a long way. Brianna begins speech next thursday, and we are looking forward to that as well.

Carissa and Cody had school, but were a great help to me this weekend while I hurried in getting things around here deep cleaned and ready for me to be layed up.

I will have access to the internet and computer, but do not know how often I will be up and around to take pics to post......I just can't promise much before Easter, although Carissa, Cody, Brandon, and Brianna will be attending Ashley's bday party so maybe I can talk Carissa into taking my camera and getting pics then, I am WAY bummed about missing her party :(
