Fishing

The Easter Bunny brought fishing poles for the kids this year, we have been making a habit of running to the family fishing pond at Columbia Park quite often......let me tell you they have not stocked it anytime lately! :)

The kids are having a blast though! Bill is learning how to cast, well on the little kids poles anyway and we are having good inexpensive quality family time!

Brandon's Second T-Ball Game

He Swings

He's actually playing pitcher, ready isn't he?
And again...playing pitcher, waiting for the ball.

again....

Playing short stop, looking through his hat, keeping the sun out of his eyes, ready for the ball.

There we go....ready to get the ball now, except the mit is in his mouth :)

Waiting to bat.

On deck next

Brandon's spectators
Brandon had his second t-ball game on the 21st. Grandma Jeannine, Grandpa Paul, Grandma Faye, Grandma Norma, Daddy, Mommy, Brianna, Carissa, and Cody all went to watch his game. Brandon put quite the show on, which included, picking grass, swinging as hard as he could only to stop and barely bunt the ball when his coach told him to hit it as hard as he could, running and fielding a ball with one hand in his mit and one hand holding his hat....how the ball got in there and got redirected, I really don't know :) He likes t-ball or baseball as he calls it, sure when it's cold and yucky, he's done before the game, but heck they are 4 and 5 year olds....so what the heck?? :)

Playing with Friends

Brandon & Lilly

Brianna, Mia, and Toby's head.

Mia taking a nap.

Brandon, Lilly, and Brianna showing us their BIG house they built.

Lilly and Mia came over for the afternoon and played with Brandon and Brianna while their mommy worked. I was still working from home recovering from surgery and had the pleasure of helping Bill watch and play with the kids. Mia and Lilly love to go to "Bill's House" and play according to their mother AND Brandon and Bri love it when they come to play. They always have a good time....and I hey I think I won Mia over cause she even let me rock her and had lots of smiles for me!

Rarely Seen~ pics of the love of my life and myself.

Bill and I are always busy, busy, busy when we see one another, it is a very rare occasion that we get to enjoy a walk to the park together or moments a lone just watching the kids, talking amongst ourselves. I took the opportunity and we posed for some pics, CORNY, yes, but fun none the less!!!!!

The Neighborhood Park

Our walk was interrupted by the neighborhood park, no complaints there! The kids can definitely do more this year than last and cried NOT to go home. We will be visiting this park ALOT this spring/summer/fall, I am sure!!!

Brandon Skateboarding

Brandon is getting to be quite the little skateboarder. He can now skateboard from the dining room across the entry way and into the kitchen and back and forth without losing his balance. He pushes a little harder each day and his distance improves each time.....dare devil????

So Brandon's first t-ball game was yesterday, they have only had 2 practices and have a "rookie" coach who has not really taught them, well....to run after hitting the ball, no matter, the kids had a blast even though it was FREEZING cold.  Check out the video, it is of Brandon's hit. He was done right on time for the game to end, and doesn't want to play in the cold again, luckily it is the middle of April, so the weather should be turning!  :)
