Rainbows!

After an extremely rainy, stormy, August week I can't help but share the beautiful rainbows I captured after one of the worse rain storms we have had this especially rainy summer of 2008. Brandon was the first one to spot the rainbow and quickly ran to tell Great Gram to come and look. He wanted me to snap a photo, and doubtful that it would turn out I clicked the shot - well SUPRISE, it turned out great. Then Brianna and Brandon spotted the double rainbows.....again we took a picture and you can see one bright rainbow with a faint rainbow next to it....what I couldn't capture in the photo was the 2 perfect full rainbows nature had provided for our viewing that evening. Gram was equally thrilled with the "beauty show" and as always had wonderful stories of the multiple rainbows she has had the fortune to see....she always captures our full attention, we love the stories she shares with us, she is a very good teacher and the kids really love listening and take in everything she has to share with them, as do we! It is an absolute joy to share the "little things" with Gram on her FAR TOO SHORT of a visit with us this summer!
